The fact that I get to wake up every day and go to “work” as a Chagrin Falls baby photographer is a dream come true. It’s families like this one that make it possible. And just when I think these little ones can’t melt my heart anymore, they do!
I find this to be particularly true during milestone sessions, especially sitter sessions! I love this milestone, and honestly, this age in general. They are sitting but not quite on the move and starting to show more of their little personalities. Not to mention, those gummy smiles!
Milestone Sessions with Siblings
Sitter milestone sessions are great for just baby, a mommy and me session, or sibling photos. For this baby boys’ session, Mom and Dad opted to focus on the two boys and the bond they have. Big brother was older when the baby was born but he was instantly in love. He couldn’t stop kissing him, and I think they both had smiles on their faces the entire time. Seriously, so sweet.
I love capturing the connection between siblings. These years when they are young can be really hard, but they are equally as sweet. 5, 10, 20, 50 years from now, the boys will be able to look back on these moments together and share them with their children.
One question I get from clients with babies this age is how to work around their ever-changing naps schedules. This is an age where they are likely going through transitions with sleep, dropping naps, and figuring out their routine, while also starting to grow weary of “strangers.” Don’t worry. We will work around nap times and really take our time so that your little one feels comfortable. We will do a mix of sitting photos to document that milestone, mix up the wardrobe (all borrowed from the studio wardrobe), and document those little features you never want to forget…like all the baby rolls!
